Artificial pearl-induced penile annular lichen planus

Sir, Annular lichen planus is an uncommonly reported variant of planus, especially on the penis [1]. Herein, we report a case penile annular induced by artificial pearls. A 42-year-old, circumcised male presented to our hospital with asymptomatic, lesions glans penis. Around one month prior presentation, he history inserting pearls inside his stainless steel. He denied drug intake or personal hepatitis C. physical examination revealed multiple, reddish-purple, plaques central atrophy (Fig. 1a). Inguinal lymph nodes and other mucocutaneous were absent.
